Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
- Use a fork to gently press down on each cookie, creating a crisscross pattern.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For softer cookies, bake for a shorter time. For crispier cookies, bake for a longer time.
- You can add a pinch of salt if your peanut butter is unsalted.
- Ensure your peanut butter is creamy and not natural-style (which can be oily).
