Description

Simple recipe for cooking juicy pork chops in an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Rub the olive oil over both sides of the pork chops.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the chops.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  6. Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
  7. Air fry for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping the chops halfway through the cooking time.
  8. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should read 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For thicker chops (over 1.5 inches), you may need to increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
  • You can substitute any preferred dry rub seasoning blend for the listed spices.
