- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional, for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, toss the trimmed Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Take one slice of bacon and wrap it tightly around each Brussels sprout. Secure the bacon with a toothpick if needed.
- Arrange the wrapped sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
- If you want a little sweet finish, brush the sprouts lightly with maple syrup during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Choose smaller Brussels sprouts for faster and more even cooking.
- For extra crispiness, you can finish them under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, watching carefully.
- These are fantastic served with a side of balsamic glaze for dipping.
