- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
- Pour in the cold water and whisk until you have a smooth, thin batter. Do not overmix.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, letting excess drip off.
- Place the battered florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Brush the partially cooked cauliflower generously with the BBQ sauce.
- Return the bites to the oven and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until crispy and the sauce is slightly caramelized.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can use a combination of flour and cornstarch for the batter.
- Adjust the amount of BBQ sauce based on your preference for coating thickness.
- Serve immediately while hot for the best texture.
