Description

Impress your guests with this elegant Blue Cheese & Fig Flatbread. It features a crispy thin crust topped with sweet fig jam, tangy blue cheese, and a sprinkle of fresh arugula. It’s a sophisticated appetizer that’s surprisingly simple to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made thin crust pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh arugula
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place the thin crust pizza dough on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the fig jam evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese over the fig jam.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with fresh arugula.
  8. Drizzle with balsamic glaze, if desired.
  9. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sweeter flatbread, use a sweeter fig jam.
  • If you don’t have blue cheese, goat cheese is a good alternative.
  • Add toasted walnuts or pecans for extra crunch.
