Description

A simple recipe for a refreshing, bubbly cocktail using blueberry jam and gin.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz London Dry Gin
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1.5 tbsp Blueberry Jam
  • 4 oz Chilled Club Soda or Prosecco
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place the blueberry jam into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add the gin and lime juice to the shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice.
  4. Seal the shaker and shake well until the outside is cold, about 15 seconds. This helps dissolve the jam.
  5. Strain the mixture into a chilled highball or wine glass filled with fresh ice.
  6. Top the drink with club soda or Prosecco.
  7. Gently stir once to combine the soda without losing carbonation.
  8. Garnish the drink before serving.

Notes

  • A London Dry Gin works well, but a slightly more floral gin complements the blueberry flavor nicely.
  • For larger batches, mix the gin, jam, and lime juice ahead of time. Do not add the soda until serving.
  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, use Prosecco instead of club soda.
