These monster cookies are perfect for boat trips. They are easy to make and transport, and everyone loves them.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 1 cup M&M’s
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking soda, baking powder, salt, and flour. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the rolled oats, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and M&M’s.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
- Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- You can substitute other types of chips or candies for the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, or M&M’s.
- For a chewier cookie, use quick oats instead of rolled oats.
- These cookies freeze well. Place cooled cookies in a single layer in a freezer-safe container or bag.
