Description

A simple, creamy, and cheesy recipe for baked Buffalo Chicken Dip, perfect for parties or game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce (use Frank’s Red Hot for classic flavor)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese, divided
  • 2 tablespoons blue cheese crumbles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, Buffalo wing sauce, and ranch or blue cheese dressing. Mix until everything is well combined.
  3. Stir in 3/4 cup of the shredded cheese and the blue cheese crumbles, if using.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Top the dip with the remaining 1/4 cup of shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier dip, add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the mixture.
  • You can prepare the dip mixture ahead of time, cover it, and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours. Add about 5 extra minutes to the baking time if baking straight from the refrigerator.
  • Serve this dip hot with tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or sturdy crackers.
