Description

Simple recipe for baked buffalo chicken sliders using Hawaiian rolls, perfect for parties or quick meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs cooked, shredded chicken breast
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected if possible. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spoon the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls. If using, sprinkle blue cheese crumbles over the chicken.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls over the chicken mixture.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with any remaining buffalo sauce or a pinch of garlic powder. Brush this mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
  7. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the filling is hot throughout.
  9. Slice the sliders apart and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a tangier sauce, add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to the chicken mixture.
  • Serve with celery sticks or extra ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
  • If you prefer a spicier slider, increase the amount of buffalo sauce or add a dash of cayenne pepper to the mix.
