Description

You need a satisfying, flavor-packed dinner that comes together fast. This easy baked Caesar chicken recipe uses a creamy Parmesan coating to keep the chicken breasts juicy. It captures all the comfort of Caesar salad flavors in a simple, oven-baked main dish perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (for extra creaminess)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs (optional, for texture)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, pepper, and salt until you have a smooth, creamy mixture. This is your creamy Parmesan sauce.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spoon the creamy Caesar mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, spreading it to cover the surface completely.
  5. If you want a slight crust, sprinkle the panko breadcrumbs lightly over the top of the sauce.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is lightly golden brown.
  7. Let the juicy baked chicken breasts rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve this comfort food chicken immediately.

Notes

  • For an even easier weeknight chicken meal, you can use store-bought Caesar dressing.
  • If you are looking for a one pan chicken dinner, add asparagus or broccoli florets to the pan around the chicken during the last 15 minutes of baking.
  • This dish pairs well with pasta or rice to soak up the extra creamy sauce.
