Description

Simple recipe for baked sliders featuring chicken, bacon, ranch seasoning, and cheese on sweet rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls connected in one piece. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, Monterey Jack cheese, and cheddar cheese. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Spoon the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls in the baking dish.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, dried minced onion, and garlic powder.
  7. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
  8. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes covered.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden brown.
  11. Slice the rolls apart between the individual servings before serving hot.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • For extra flavor, brush melted butter mixed with a pinch of poppy seeds over the tops before the final bake.
  • Hawaiian sweet rolls work best for this recipe due to their texture and slight sweetness.
