- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Arrange the cubed babka in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with chocolate chips if using.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the milk mixture evenly over the babka cubes in the baking dish, ensuring all pieces are moistened. Gently press down any pieces that float to the top.
- Let the mixture sit for about 15-20 minutes to allow the babka to soak up the liquid.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the pudding is set and the top is golden brown. A knife inserted near the center should come out mostly clean.
- Let the bread pudding cool slightly before serving.
