Description

Enjoy these easy, bite-size cinnamon sugar pretzel bites, a sweet treat reminiscent of your favorite mall pretzels, perfect for a quick homemade dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16.5 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into four equal pieces.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Melt the butter in a separate shallow bowl.
  5. Dip each biscuit piece into the melted butter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  6. Roll the butter-coated biscuit pieces in the cinnamon sugar mixture until well covered.
  7. Place the coated biscuit pieces onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between them.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Let them cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra chewy pretzel, you can boil the biscuit pieces in a baking soda solution (1/4 cup baking soda in 4 cups of water) for 30 seconds before buttering and coating.
  • Feel free to add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar mixture for added warmth.
  • These are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat briefly in the oven or microwave if desired.
