Description
Make thick, creamy cookie butter cold foam at home to top your favorite iced coffee or latte.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons cookie butter (like Biscoff)
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the heavy whipping cream, milk, cookie butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
- Use an electric hand mixer or a milk frother to whip the mixture.
- Start on low speed, then increase to medium-high speed.
- Whip until the mixture thickens to a spoonable, soft-peak consistency, similar to thick whipped cream. This usually takes 2 to 4 minutes, depending on your equipment.
- Taste the foam and add a little more sugar if you prefer it sweeter.
- Spoon the finished cold foam directly over your cold beverage.
Notes
- For a thinner, more pourable foam, use a higher ratio of milk to cream.
- If you do not have a frother or mixer, you can vigorously whisk the ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid until foam forms.
- Store any leftover cold foam in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Stir well before using again.
- Use Biscoff or a similar speculoos cookie butter for the best flavor.
