Description

A refreshing and easy-to-make salad featuring crisp cucumbers in a creamy dill dressing. Perfect for a light side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, dill, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the sliced cucumbers to the bowl.
  3. Gently toss to coat the cucumbers with the creamy dressing.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use English cucumbers or regular cucumbers. If using regular cucumbers, you may want to peel them and remove the seeds before slicing.
  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for the sour cream.
  • Add thinly sliced red onion for extra flavor.
