- 12 ounces pasta (penne, rotini, or shells work well)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 (5 ounce) cans tuna in water, drained
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Add drained tuna to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Pour in cream of mushroom soup and milk. Stir well to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked and drained pasta to the skillet. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy tuna sauce.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can substitute cream of chicken soup for cream of mushroom soup.
