Description

Make this easy baked ravioli casserole, often called Ravioli Lasagna, using frozen ravioli for a quick, cheesy, family-friendly weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (25 ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef (cooked and drained)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the frozen ravioli, marinara sauce, and cooked ground beef. Stir gently until the ingredients are evenly coated.
  3. Spread half of the ravioli mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle one cup of the mozzarella cheese evenly over the first layer.
  5. Top with the remaining ravioli mixture.
  6. Spread the remaining one cup of mozzarella cheese and all of the Parmesan cheese over the top layer.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
  8. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before you serve it.

Notes

  • You can substitute Italian sausage for the ground beef for a different flavor profile.
  • If you do not have ground beef, you can skip it and use only the sauce and ravioli to make a 3-ingredient version.
  • This casserole freezes well before baking; cover tightly with foil and freeze for up to three months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before baking.
