Description
Make this easy baked ravioli casserole, often called Ravioli Lasagna, using frozen ravioli for a quick, cheesy, family-friendly weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (25 ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 1 pound ground beef (cooked and drained)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the frozen ravioli, marinara sauce, and cooked ground beef. Stir gently until the ingredients are evenly coated.
- Spread half of the ravioli mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle one cup of the mozzarella cheese evenly over the first layer.
- Top with the remaining ravioli mixture.
- Spread the remaining one cup of mozzarella cheese and all of the Parmesan cheese over the top layer.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before you serve it.
Notes
- You can substitute Italian sausage for the ground beef for a different flavor profile.
- If you do not have ground beef, you can skip it and use only the sauce and ravioli to make a 3-ingredient version.
- This casserole freezes well before baking; cover tightly with foil and freeze for up to three months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before baking.
