- Scoop-shaped tortilla chips or Fritos for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, undrained Rotel, and taco seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Stir in 1 cup of the shredded Mexican blend cheese into the sour cream mixture.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish or a boat-shaped platter.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded Mexican blend cheese over the top of the dip.
- If desired, garnish with fresh chopped cilantro.
- Serve immediately with scoop-shaped tortilla chips or Fritos.
Notes
- For a spicier dip, use hot Rotel.
- You can prepare the dip ahead of time and refrigerate it. Add the top layer of cheese just before serving.
