- 1 lb tilapia fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add tilapia fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove tilapia from skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Stir in fresh parsley and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the tilapia fillets to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over them.
- Serve immediately.
