Description

These festive cranberry brie bites are a quick and easy appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings. They feature creamy brie and sweet cranberry sauce wrapped in flaky pastry.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 (8 ounce) wheel brie cheese, rind removed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 12 equal squares.
  3. Press each puff pastry square into a mini muffin tin cup, allowing the corners to extend slightly over the edges.
  4. Place a piece of brie cheese into each pastry-lined cup.
  5. Top the brie with about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  6. Brush the exposed edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg wash.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed, and the brie is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let the bites cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before carefully removing them.
  9. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Ensure your puff pastry is fully thawed but still cold for best results.
  • You can use homemade or store-bought cranberry sauce.
  • For a sweeter bite, drizzle with a little honey before serving.
