Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.

- Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter evenly on each of the 6 slices of bread.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of jelly or jam evenly on the remaining 6 slices of bread.
- Place a jelly-covered slice of bread on top of each peanut butter-covered slice, creating 6 sandwiches.
- For each sandwich, use a round cookie cutter or a glass to cut out a circle from the center of the sandwich, pressing firmly to seal the edges.
- Remove the crusts.
- Place the homemade uncrustables in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze for 1 hour, or until firm.
- Transfer the frozen uncrustables to a freezer-safe bag or airtight container.
- Store in the freezer for up to 1 month.
- To serve, remove from the freezer and let thaw at room temperature for 30–60 minutes, or until soft.
Notes
- Use any type of bread, peanut butter, and jelly you prefer.
- For a healthier option, use whole wheat bread and natural peanut butter.
- Try different fillings like Nutella, cream cheese, or banana slices.
- Ensure the edges are sealed tightly to prevent fillings from leaking out during thawing.
