Description

This Maple Dijon Salmon recipe delivers a burst of flavor in just 15 minutes. It’s a quick, easy, and delicious meal perfect for busy weeknights. The sweet maple syrup and tangy Dijon mustard create a perfect glaze for tender salmon fillets.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side down (if applicable) in the hot skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Flip the salmon. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup and Dijon mustard.
  5. Pour the maple Dijon glaze over the salmon.
  6. Continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze has thickened. Spoon the glaze over the salmon as it cooks.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of maple syrup and Dijon mustard to your preference.
  • For a spicier glaze, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with your favorite sides like roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
