Description

- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (white and green parts)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl.
- Add the sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, chives, green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl.
- Use a spoon or electric mixer on low speed to combine all ingredients until they are fully mixed and smooth.
- Taste the dip and add salt and pepper as needed.
- Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate the dip for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
- Stir the dip briefly before serving cold with crackers or vegetables.
Notes
- You can prepare this dip up to 24 hours in advance. Store it covered in the refrigerator.
- For the best flavor, use real bacon that you cook and crumble yourself.
