Description

Make the famous Million Dollar Dip, often called Neiman Marcus Dip. This simple, cold dip combines cream cheese, bacon, cheddar, and chives for a rich party appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (white and green parts)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, chives, green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl.
  3. Use a spoon or electric mixer on low speed to combine all ingredients until they are fully mixed and smooth.
  4. Taste the dip and add salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap.
  6. Refrigerate the dip for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
  7. Stir the dip briefly before serving cold with crackers or vegetables.
