Description
Make this No-Bake Oreo Cheesecake for your next party. It is simple, requires no oven time, and always disappears fast. You will love how easy this rich dessert is to put together.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (14.3 ounces) Oreo cookies, crushed
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 container (12 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies, for topping
Instructions
- Mix the crushed Oreos and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Place the crust in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Gradually beat in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no streaks remain. Be careful not to overmix.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
- Sprinkle the reserved crushed Oreos over the top of the cheesecake.
- Cover the pan loosely with plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight, to set completely.
- Before serving, carefully release the springform pan sides. Slice and enjoy this easy treat!
Notes
- You can use chocolate graham crackers instead of Oreos for the crust if you prefer.
- Make sure your cream cheese is truly softened to avoid lumps in the filling.
- Chilling time is important; plan ahead so the cheesecake sets properly.
