These no-bake peanut butter chocolate bars are a super easy dessert that requires no oven time. They have delicious layers of peanut butter and chocolate, making them a perfect treat for any occasion.

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening or coconut oil
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and vegetable shortening/coconut oil. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is firm.
- Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang.
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
Notes
- For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semisweet.
- If you don’t have graham crackers, you can use digestive biscuits or even crushed pretzels for a salty-sweet crunch.
- Ensure the peanut butter layer is pressed firmly and evenly for a good base.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
