Description
Make a quick and creamy chocolate fondue using Nutella as the base for easy dipping.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions
- Combine the heavy cream and butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Warm the cream and butter gently, stirring until the butter melts completely. Do not let the mixture boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Add the Nutella to the warm cream mixture.
- Whisk slowly until the Nutella is fully incorporated and the fondue is smooth and glossy.
- Transfer the fondue to a small fondue pot or a bowl set over a low heat source (like a tea light warmer) to keep it warm for serving.
Notes
- For dipping, use strawberries, banana slices, apple wedges, marshmallows, pretzels, pound cake cubes, or shortbread cookies.
- If the fondue becomes too thick while serving, whisk in one teaspoon of warm heavy cream at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
- Keep the heat very low when serving to prevent the Nutella from scorching or separating.
