Description

Make a quick and creamy chocolate fondue using Nutella as the base for easy dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Combine the heavy cream and butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  2. Warm the cream and butter gently, stirring until the butter melts completely. Do not let the mixture boil.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  4. Add the Nutella to the warm cream mixture.
  5. Whisk slowly until the Nutella is fully incorporated and the fondue is smooth and glossy.
  6. Transfer the fondue to a small fondue pot or a bowl set over a low heat source (like a tea light warmer) to keep it warm for serving.

Notes

  • For dipping, use strawberries, banana slices, apple wedges, marshmallows, pretzels, pound cake cubes, or shortbread cookies.
  • If the fondue becomes too thick while serving, whisk in one teaspoon of warm heavy cream at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Keep the heat very low when serving to prevent the Nutella from scorching or separating.
