- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup peanut butter chips
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, cocoa powder, chopped peanuts, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well combined.
- Spread the granola mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the granola is golden brown and crunchy.
- Let the granola cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Once cooled, stir in the peanut butter chips.
Notes
- For extra chocolatey flavor, you can add more cocoa powder.
- Feel free to add other nuts or seeds like almonds or sunflower seeds.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
