Description

Make this simple, sweet and spicy cheese dip using only three main ingredients. It is a quick, crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for parties or game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup pepper jelly (any flavor)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a small oven-safe dish.
  2. Spread the softened cream cheese evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. Spoon the pepper jelly over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and optional pecans over the top.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve immediately with crackers or chips.

Notes

  • For a spicier dip, use hot pepper jelly or add a few dashes of hot sauce to the jelly layer before baking.
  • If you prefer a no-bake version, simply mix the softened cream cheese and pepper jelly together until combined, then top with cheddar and serve immediately.
  • This dip pairs well with sturdy crackers, tortilla chips, or sliced baguette rounds.
