- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced pepperoni
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Stretch it slightly into a rectangle.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Arrange the pepperoni slices over the cheese.
- Starting from one long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
- Place the pinwheels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and dried oregano.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
