Description
A simple, refreshing cocktail mixing tart pomegranate with crisp Prosecco and a hint of fresh rosemary.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 oz Prosecco or dry sparkling wine
- 1 oz pomegranate juice
- 0.5 oz orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- 0.25 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- Pomegranate arils, for garnish
- Ice
Instructions
- Chill a wine glass or flute.
- Place a few ice cubes in the chilled glass.
- Pour the pomegranate juice, orange liqueur, and lime juice over the ice.
- Gently top with the Prosecco.
- Lightly stir the mixture once or twice to combine the liquids without losing too much carbonation.
- Garnish the drink with a fresh rosemary sprig and a few pomegranate arils.
Notes
- For a less alcoholic version, substitute the Prosecco with sparkling water or club soda.
- If you do not have orange liqueur, use 0.5 oz of simple syrup instead.
- Gently clap the rosemary sprig between your hands before adding it to release its aroma.
