A warm and comforting cobbler featuring the flavors of salted caramel, bourbon, and pecans over a sweet pie base.

- 1 box (14.1 ounces) refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce, plus more for serving
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll one pie crust and press it into the bottom of a 9-inch square baking dish. Crimp the edges if desired.
- In a medium bowl, combine pecans, sugar, flour, and salt.
- Pour melted butter and bourbon over the pecan mixture and stir to combine.
- Spoon the pecan mixture evenly over the pie crust in the baking dish.
- Drizzle the 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce over the pecan mixture.
- Unroll the second pie crust and cut it into strips or use cookie cutters to create shapes. Arrange over the pecan filling.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
- Serve warm with additional salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute whiskey for bourbon if preferred.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently before serving.
