Description
Make simple, sweet, and tangy meatballs using a slow cooker. This recipe uses grape jelly and barbecue sauce for an easy party appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (32 ounce) bag frozen pre-cooked meatballs
- 1 (12 ounce) jar grape jelly
- 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix the grape jelly, barbecue sauce, and Worcestershire sauce until combined.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs in the slow cooker. Stir gently to coat.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, or on high for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is smooth.
- Stir before serving. Keep warm on the ‘Keep Warm’ setting for serving at parties.
Notes
- You can substitute chili sauce for the Worcestershire sauce for a slightly spicier flavor.
- For best results, use frozen, fully cooked meatballs.
- If you do not have a slow cooker, you can combine ingredients in a saucepan and simmer on low heat on the stovetop for 30 minutes.
