- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced pears with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour the mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
