This spicy chipotle black bean dip is incredibly easy and quick to make, perfect for any last-minute gathering. It’s packed with smoky chipotle flavor and a hint of spice.

- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1-2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced (adjust to your spice preference)
- 1 tablespoon adobo sauce from the can
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Optional toppings: diced avocado, pico de gallo, sour cream
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor.
- Pulse until mostly smooth, with some texture remaining.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and more chipotle if desired.
- Transfer to a serving bowl.
- Top with your favorite toppings if using.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or vegetable sticks.

- For a smoother dip, process for a longer time.
- If you don’t have a food processor, you can mash the ingredients with a fork or potato masher in a bowl.
