Description

Make these Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken Wings for a bold-flavored party snack that tastes amazing without complicated steps. You can easily whip up this unforgettable dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings, separated flats and drumettes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper on the prepared baking sheet. Spread them in a single layer.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes.
  4. While the wings bake, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
  5. Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
  6. After the initial 25 minutes, flip the wings. Bake for another 15-20 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
  7. Remove the wings from the oven. Place them in a large bowl.
  8. Pour the warm honey garlic sauce over the wings. Toss well until every wing is completely coated.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your crowd-pleasing snack.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, you can broil them for the last 2-3 minutes after saucing, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • You can substitute regular vinegar for apple cider vinegar if needed.
  • If you prefer less heat, start with just 1 tablespoon of sriracha.
