Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings, separated flats and drumettes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to your spice preference)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
- Toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper on the prepared baking sheet. Spread them in a single layer.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- While the wings bake, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
- After the initial 25 minutes, flip the wings. Bake for another 15-20 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
- Remove the wings from the oven. Place them in a large bowl.
- Pour the warm honey garlic sauce over the wings. Toss well until every wing is completely coated.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your crowd-pleasing snack.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, you can broil them for the last 2-3 minutes after saucing, watching closely to prevent burning.
- You can substitute regular vinegar for apple cider vinegar if needed.
- If you prefer less heat, start with just 1 tablespoon of sriracha.
