Description
Make a refreshing, layered cold brew topped with sweet, creamy strawberry cold foam at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup strong cold brew coffee concentrate
- 1/2 cup water (for dilution)
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup 2% milk or whole milk
- 2 tablespoons strawberry syrup (or puree mixed with sweetener)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Prepare the cold brew base: Mix the cold brew concentrate with water. Place this mixture into a tall glass filled with ice.
- Make the strawberry cold foam: In a separate bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, milk, strawberry syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Froth the mixture: Use an electric hand mixer, a milk frother, or a French press to whip the mixture until soft peaks form. The foam should be thick enough to hold its shape briefly.
- Assemble the drink: Gently spoon the strawberry cold foam over the top of the iced cold brew.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- If you do not have a frother, you can vigorously shake the foam ingredients in a sealed jar for several minutes until thickened.
- Adjust the amount of strawberry syrup based on your preferred sweetness level.
- For a lighter foam, substitute half of the heavy cream with more milk.
