Description

A refreshing sangria with summer berries and white wine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle dry white wine, chilled
  • 1 cup seltzer or sparkling water, chilled
  • 1/2 cup brandy or orange liqueur
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated until dissolved and cooled)
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the chilled white wine, seltzer or sparkling water, brandy or orange liqueur, and simple syrup.
  2. Add the sliced strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and orange slices to the pitcher.
  3. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. For best results, chill for 2-4 hours.
  5. Serve the sangria over ice in individual glasses, making sure to include some of the fruit in each serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup to your taste.
  • Feel free to use other fruits like blackberries, peaches, or melon.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the wine and brandy with white grape juice and extra seltzer.
