Description
Make delicious tuna patties from canned tuna, breadcrumbs, and seasonings. Pan-fry them until golden brown for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients

- 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna, drained well
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, flake the drained tuna with a fork.
- Add the breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, celery, onion, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the tuna.
- Mix everything together until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 6-8 patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Carefully place the patties in the hot skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- You can add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little heat.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice or your favorite dipping sauce.
- Leftover patties can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
