Description

Transform your leftover turkey and cranberry sauce into simple, satisfying Turkey Cranberry Sliders. These mini sandwiches are perfect for a quick post-holiday snack when you need something delicious fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Slider Buns (Hawaiian rolls or small brioche work well)
  • 1 cup Cooked Turkey, shredded or thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Cranberry Sauce
  • 4 slices Provolone or Swiss Cheese, halved
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected if possible.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the Dijon mustard, if you are using it. Brush this mixture lightly over the cut sides of the buns.
  4. Layer the bottom halves of the buns with the shredded turkey.
  5. Place a half-slice of cheese over the turkey on each slider portion.
  6. Spoon about a teaspoon of cranberry sauce over the cheese on each slider.
  7. Place the top halves of the buns onto the sliders.
  8. Wrap the entire tray of assembled sliders loosely in aluminum foil.
  9. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
  10. Remove the foil for the last 2 minutes if you prefer a slightly toasted top.
  11. Slice the sliders apart and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Hawaiian rolls add a nice sweetness that pairs well with the savory turkey.
  • If your turkey is dry, a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom bun adds moisture.
  • You can substitute Brie or Havarti cheese for a creamier texture.
  • For extra flavor, brush the tops with melted butter mixed with a pinch of garlic powder before baking.
