Description
Transform your leftover turkey stuffing into irresistible, crispy waffles in just five minutes. This is the perfect quick and comforting way to enjoy those post-holiday flavors.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups leftover turkey stuffing
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup milk (any kind)
- 1 tablespoon melted butter or oil
- Pinch of salt and pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron to medium-high heat. Lightly grease the iron if needed.
- In a medium bowl, combine the leftover stuffing, egg, milk, and melted butter or oil. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Spoon the stuffing mixture onto the hot waffle iron, using the amount needed to cover the surface without overflowing.
- Close the lid and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the waffle is golden brown and crisp.
- Carefully remove the waffle and repeat with any remaining mixture.
- Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- If your stuffing is very dry, add milk a tablespoon at a time until it holds together when pressed.
- For extra crispiness, spray the outside of the waffle iron plates with cooking spray before adding the batter.
- This recipe works best with traditional, moist stuffing.
- Topping ideas include a drizzle of gravy or a fried egg.
