Description

These White Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Pretzels are a no-bake treat perfect for fall. They combine salty pretzels with sweet white chocolate and warm pumpkin pie spice for a simple yet delicious snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces white chocolate melting wafers or white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for extra warmth)
  • Orange food coloring (optional)
  • 2 cups pretzel twists or rods

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
  2. Melt the white chocolate: Place white chocolate wafers or chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, melt in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in flavor and color: Once the chocolate is melted, stir in the pumpkin pie spice and optional cinnamon. If using, add a few drops of orange food coloring and mix until you achieve your desired color.
  4. Dip the pretzels: Dip each pretzel into the melted white chocolate, coating it completely or partially, depending on your preference. Tap off any excess chocolate.
  5. Place on prepared baking sheet: Lay the coated pretzels on the parchment or wax paper, ensuring they don’t touch.
  6. Chill to set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set and firm.
  7. Store: Once set, store the white chocolate pumpkin spice pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.

Notes

  • For best results, use good quality white chocolate melting wafers as they melt more smoothly and set firmer than regular white chocolate chips.
  • Adjust the amount of pumpkin pie spice to your taste.
  • If the chocolate thickens while you’re working, you can gently reheat it in the microwave for a few seconds to thin it out again.
  • You can drizzle additional melted white chocolate or a contrasting chocolate over the set pretzels for a decorative touch.
