Description
Make these simple, cheesy pizza sliders using Hawaiian rolls for a perfect game day snack or quick family meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (12 count) package sweet Hawaiian rolls
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Carefully slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls connected as much as possible. Place the bottom half of the rolls cut-side up in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the pepperoni layer.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning to create the glaze.
- Brush the entire top surface of the rolls generously with the garlic butter mixture.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tops are lightly golden brown.
- Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing between the rolls and serving warm.
Notes
- You can add thin slices of provolone cheese along with the mozzarella for extra flavor.
- If you prefer, you can brush the melted butter mixture on the inside layers before adding the toppings for more moisture.
- Use your favorite pizza sauce for the best results.
