Description

Make these simple, cheesy pizza sliders using Hawaiian rolls for a perfect game day snack or quick family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 count) package sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Carefully slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls connected as much as possible. Place the bottom half of the rolls cut-side up in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls over the pepperoni layer.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning to create the glaze.
  7. Brush the entire top surface of the rolls generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  8. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top.
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tops are lightly golden brown.
  10. Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing between the rolls and serving warm.

Notes

  • You can add thin slices of provolone cheese along with the mozzarella for extra flavor.
  • If you prefer, you can brush the melted butter mixture on the inside layers before adding the toppings for more moisture.
  • Use your favorite pizza sauce for the best results.
