- 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced (about 6-8 medium peaches)
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cut into cubes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, gently toss the sliced peaches with granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of flour, and lemon juice.
- Pour the peach mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- In a separate medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, 1/2 cup of flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the cold butter cubes to the oat mixture. Use your fingers or a pastry blender to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the peaches in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
- Let it cool for at least 10-15 minutes before serving.
