Description
Make smooth, creamy peanut butter fudge with only three simple ingredients. This no-bake recipe sets quickly and delivers a rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture perfect for quick treats.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar (confectioners’ sugar)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal. Lightly grease the paper.
- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and softened butter. Microwave on medium power for 30 to 45 seconds until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth. Stir well to combine.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar to the peanut butter mixture, stirring constantly until fully incorporated and a thick dough forms.
- Press the fudge mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to smooth the top surface.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm enough to cut.
- Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into 1-inch squares before serving.
Notes
- Use creamy peanut butter for the smoothest texture. Natural, oily peanut butter may require slight adjustments to the powdered sugar amount.
- If the mixture seems too stiff before pressing into the pan, microwave it for another 10 seconds to soften slightly.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
